This is a serious club but were all members and staff enjoy theme selves.
The UPPD Club consists of UPPD suitable dogs, handlers and friends. The club performs Obedience, Search and Protection, Agility etc. training on club days. To join the club you are required to own or be the handler of an UPPD suitable dog. UPPD suitable dogs are true standard working line dogs that are able to cope with proper top training. All training is performed for real life scenarios rather then sport type training. UPPD handler training requires that the handler is at or above the gun permit age of local government. Club members handlers and dogs choose and can be picky on new members. The club is more like a family then a normal club with more then training involved. eg. kebab nights. All dogs participating must be social.
Generally UPPD training is held on friday evenings with dogs taking turns on training, group training and the obvious gossip and exchange of advice.
UPPD trained dogs are no joke. Responsibility is a must. these dogs are taught how to seriously protect you, UPPD trained dogs are much more then you see on the TV and fall in love with. A simple game of asking your friend to pretend to attack you will result in serious pain for your friend even though he was stroking your dog a few seconds ago. UPPD dogs are trustworthy obedient and loyal to their handlers but everybody else is looked and observed suspiciously yet gracefully. UPPD dogs may be stroked or played with by strangers after being properly introduced because only solid character dogs are allowed into the program and training is dealt with accordingly. This is why the breeding lines are so important for UPPD dogs. UPPD trained dogs are ready to serve the military or police force of any country with only as little as up to two weeks of extra training.
