Unfortunately even though the internet is a wonderfull place to share information and for doing intense research it however has one serious pit hole. A person can be of any age and have any ammount of knowledge in order to purchase and build a web site today, thus someone with no knowledge may build an internet site and fill it up with misleading knowledge or may just be lasy and copy it of from another web site. The innocent researcher will then stumble into a world of incorrect knowledge and will only have the web page setup as his reference point. So if the web site builder is a professional web site builder or has the gift of building a web page then his page will give the impression that the information is trustable whereas the person who has the true knowledge but isn't an internet guru may have prepaired an amatuer site that the researcher will assume unreliable. This is a true situation for many arts and crafts, especially medicine! so be aware...

I have noticed that there are many German Shepherd Dog Breeders and many wanna be breeders around who also have a lot of misleading information in their web sites. Some gave the web building work to web gurus who were just that a genious of the internet but did not know the difference of a cat and a dog, so the web pages were copy-paste versions of other pages around. I know of many breeders who say that they are bettering the breed but have no real historical knowledge and don't even realise that the German Shepherd Dogs around are no where close to those of a century ago.
