ıUnfortunately Cyprus and many countries in the world are at the edge of natural disasters such as earthquakes and land slides. Kidnapping and missing people are also on the rise. We have seen many dogs try to perform as a Search and Rescue Dog yet fail and waist critical seconds in Rescue attempts time and time again. This is why we have formed this club. Our goals are set high with the goals of true SAR dogs and REAL SAR handlers ready to attend such Search and Rescue opperations. K9 Raben is the only dog training center in Cyprus that offers proffessional SAR training. Attending now is the time not after a disaster strikes is of utter most importance. It may be your familly memebers and loved ones that your dog saves! Wont you feal better participating in SAR then sitting at home glued to the tv helplessly watching the devastation...
It is also unfortunate that entry levels to this club training is limited in numbers, no where enough to do true help in such a natural disaster, government help has been less then minimal. After a natural disaster occurs one is either under the wreck, flees the area, cries for their lost ones, watchess with their hands tied or participates.
SAR trained dogs are examples of obedience, they learn how to solve problems, use their nose and natural instincts, work with man and dog in harmony, are excellent at agility.
